Mental health counseling at your fingertips / 25 N Good Health points per online session

Don’t let the busyness of life prevent you from getting help from a mental health professional.

You can see a counselor via computer or electronic device through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) TeleBehavioral Health service, administered by Wayne Corp.

The benefit covers six free sessions, and if needed, you may schedule more appointments with the same counselor through insurance or private pay. The program is completely confidential.

Traditional in-office appointments are available if you prefer to meet with a counselor in person.

To take advantage of the TeleBehavioral Health service, follow these steps:

  • Call your EAP at (502) 451-8262. Answer a few questions and receive a sign-on link via email.
  • Register, choose a counselor in your state and schedule an appointment.
  • See a counselor at your comfort and convenience — Sessions will be hosted on a HIPAA-compliant platform with a licensed mental health provider.

EAP TeleBehavioral Health is not associated with Norton eCare.

Are there other opportunities?

N Good Health also partners with Wayne Corp. to offer healthy action points for visits to support your mental well-being as part of Staying Balanced with EAP. You can earn 25 points per visit (up to 100 points) towards step 4 when you make an appointment with EAP. Make sure you have your provider fill out an EAP tracker form after your visit to earn points for N Good Health. This form can be obtained on NGoodHealth.com, by submitting a self-service ticket on the website, or by calling the N Good Health office at (502) 629-2162.

Want to know more about EAP?

The program is an employee benefit that strives to help you or household family members deal with personal problems, including depression, grief, stress, relationship conflict, alcohol and drug abuse, legal and financial matters and aging relative concerns.

Deadline is THIS SUNDAY, September 15th!

The deadline to complete N Good Health’s 4 steps and earn wellness credits in 2019 is Sept. 15**. If your steps are not marked complete in your account, PLEASE REACH OUT so that we can help you get there. You can Submit  an N Good Health Service Request or call (502) 629-2162.

Why should I complete the 4 steps?

In addition to earning $35 in wellness credits per paycheck (double if your spouse also participants in the wellness program), you could be saving your own life. Nearly 50 percent of Norton Healthcare employees have health conditions that could potentially be treated or reversed if caught early. Step 3 of the 4 steps — the N Good Health physical — helps you keep track of your health numbers and gets you in front of a physician to talk through a health plan.

How do I complete the 4 steps?

The 4 steps are easy to complete.

  1. Take the health risk assessment.
  2. Complete your annual wellness statement.
  3. Get your annual N Good Health physical.
  4. Earn 100 points.

Log on to NGoodHealth.com to learn more about each step and to check your progress.

If it is unreasonably difficult or inadvisable due to a medical condition for you to complete the 4 steps to earn wellness credits, you may complete a medical exclusion form in order to qualify for them. Call N Good Health at (502) 629-2162 for the form and answers to any questions.

Is it too late to make an appointment with my primary care provider?

The Norton Healthcare Access Center can help if you do not have a primary care provider or cannot get an appointment with your primary care provider to complete step 3. Call (502) 629-1234, option 3, to schedule your N Good Health physical with a Norton Healthcare provider or log in to your MyNortonChart account to schedule your exam. You can also stop by any Walgreens location that features Norton Prompt Care.

Do you have more questions about completing the 4 steps? Submit an N Good Health Service Request or call (502) 629-2162.

**If you are a new hire with Norton Healthcare, you have your own individual deadline & that is within 180 days of your hire date.
