Seven Ways to Ride, One Great Cause!

Help us celebrate over a decade of making a difference for our families, friends and neighbors beating cancer at Norton Cancer Institute! 

Whether you’ve never been on a bike before, want to participate but can’t be there, or are ready to hit the road, we have an option for you!  Choose from a 15-,35-, 65-, or 100-mile ride, a 5-mile Family Ride, an hour long Spin Ride or a Virtual Ride.  We also need volunteers to help support and cheer on our riders!

The funds raised stay right here in our community to help patients of Norton Cancer Institute andNorton Children’s Cancer Institute, affiliated with University of Louisville.  Read how the funds are making a difference.

100% of rider funds raised go directly to support our mission of curing cancer and eliminating suffering.

More ways to earn healthy action points!

Your physical health is only part of your overall wellness journey. N Good Health is excited to partner with the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) by Wayne Corp. to now offer healthy action points for in-person visits to support your mental well-being as part of Staying Balanced With EAP.

You can earn 25 points per visit (up to 100 points) toward step 4 when you make an appointment with EAP. Receive support in areas such as:
– Emotional difficulties
– Marital conflicts
– Stress
– Alcohol or drug problems
– Relationship issues
– Parent/child/family conflicts

Wayne Corp. is offering a one-time, on-site Life Balance Assessment at a Norton Healthcare facility near you. Check the schedule below and make your appointment now! On-site appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.

Appointments generally last 30 minutes and are completely confidential. There is no cost to you. Points are awarded when you voluntarily submit a tracking form to N Good Health by faxing it to (502) 666-7667 or emailing it to ngoodhealth@nortonhealthcare.org.

To make an appointment, contact the EAP by calling Wayne Corp. at (502) 451-8262 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. 

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and N Good Health abide by all HIPAA standards and do not share any health information. No personal or appointment information will be shared between the EAP and N Good Health. To receive N Good Health points for using the EAP, submit a tracking form to N Good Health.​​

DIY Taco Seasoning

Skip the side of MSG, corn starch, hydrogenated oil and silicon dioxide at your next Taco Tuesday with this DIY taco seasoning. Add this seasoning to your favorite meat or meat substitute for flavor-packed tacos with none of the additives.

DIY Taco Seasoning

Makes 4 servings per 1 pound of meat or meat substitute

Prep: 5 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes (includes cooking of meat)

Ingredients

8 ounces tomato sauce, no added salt

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon chili powder

½ teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon ground coriander

1 teaspoon salt

1 pound of ground meat or meat substitute

Directions

Combine dry spices in small bowl. Cook meat or meat substitute until cooked through. Drain. Add tomato sauce and spice blend to meat and stir. Let simmer uncovered for 3 to 4 minutes. Serve warm as tacos or over a taco salad.

Splash N’ Dash is THIS SATURDAY!!! Do something good for your health while supporting the health of kids at Norton Children’s Hospital! Runners walkers can choose to splash, climb and slide their way through a 5k course or a 1k family fun run filled with refreshing ways to cool off in splash zones.
